Get our forwards moving quickly at the beginning of the game to gain momentum. No long balls, just short ones to the forwards. After we’ve made some metres, we can start putting in some tactical kicks to put ourselves in a good defending position and put lots of pressure on the other side. We repeat this until we are 20 metres out of the try line, and then we can start throwing it wide to some backs to create some opportunities for running, passing and small kicks.
