The team that I believe should play Australia (if all players were at full fitness)... I have selected Thacker, more because of his open play skill, like those of Schalk Brits, rather than perfect lineout accuracy, however Hartley would be on the bench. Launchbury has made the team from his bulldozing runs, heavy tackling and height for attacking lineouts. Kruis, Itoje and Vunipola are all self explanatory. Kruis and Itoje for there work at lineouts, tackling, good runs and Itoje for his jackling and slowing down of the ball. B Vunipola for his typical heavy runs. Kvesic made the team because I believe him to be England's best jackaler and out and out seven. This is what England will need soon, to turn defense into a penalty or turnover, or just slowing down attacks, giving time for the defense to set. Tuilagi is playing as a typical crash ball 12, which he does so well. Watson and Knowle are in for their speed, footwork, and Knowle for constantly following the ball and wanting to run with it. Almost acting as another flanker, not getting the ball but clearing the ruck out quickly. Daly is in for his pace, footwork, acting as another playmaker and his booming boot. With weaker kickers in the team, his huge boot in clearances and penalties could prove crucial. Goode has been immense this season, his footwork, mature runs, kicking off the tee, capability under high balls and acting as another playmaker has been crucial for Saracens this season. Cipriuni, is an incredible fly half, with his selflessness, line brakes and being able to unlock defences. His only drawback would be his poor kicking off a tee, (as his tactical short kicks and territorial are exceptional), but with two other place kickers (Goode, Daly) and three other exit kickers (Goode, Daly and Youngs), without the pressure of kicking, he would flourish.
